Bolt Hunter is a purpose-built lightning camera trigger engineered to analyze lightning in real time. By detecting faint precursor activity, compensating for camera shutter lag, and synchronizing exposure timing with return-stroke intervals, Bolt Hunter significantly improves capture reliability in both daytime and nighttime conditions. The device was designed specifically for storm photographers and supports nearly universal camera compatibility, including Bluetooth-only bodies and newer USB-C shutter connectors.
